Most "quick release" thumb screws are garbage. JeepBolts has been manufacturing our own screws for our site since 1997. The ones you find elsewhere all have those silver shafts and most sellers buy them by the thousands from foreign import sites that charge about 50 cents a piece. We have a ton of customers that come to us because the zinc post snapped off the head. You can see the head tops have a "rough" appearance and the threaded post is coated the entire way down. Also, we throw in neoprene washers to help prevent them from scratching the top part of your hardtop.
