Many aftermarket “SAE upgrade” kits replace the factory metric hardware with oversized bolts (11\/16s, 9\/16s, etc.), which often requires drilling and permanently alters the joint, reducing bushing sleeve strength. Instead of changing bolt diameter, we stuck with metric and use a properly engineered shoulder so the bushing sleeve is supported on the shoulder instead of the threads. This restores clamp stability and prevents movement without compromising the original suspension components or geometry.
